Têt Nguyên Ðán - Vietnamese New YearCommunity Events
The local Vietnamese community holds a Tet Celebration for anyone to attend. They have a dragon dance and Vietnamese cultural performances. There is more information about it at their website http://www.tetinseattle.org
Some families from our adoption group meet during this event.
Greater Seattle Vietnam Association
GSVA is committed to promoting positive relationships and mutual understanding between the people of Greater Seattle and the people of Viet Nam. They will accomplish this by promoting contact and cooperation in the areas of education, humanitarian work, trade and the arts. Their website is at www.seattlevietnam.org.
Vietnamese Adoptee Network
The Vietnamese adult adoptees, those adopted during and before the baby airlift from Vietnam in 1975, have organized a national group called Vietnamese Adoptee Network or VAN. Their website is http://www.van-online.org.
