Soon it was time for the family to board another plane to start their journey home, but this time with their small child. The parents felt relief that their trip had gone smoothly and everyone was healthy and safe. They also felt excited to start their journey of parenthood with this delightful child sitting in their lap. But they also felt especially sad to be leaving such a beautiful country. They wished that they could have seen more. They knew that they could not wait to return with their child when he is older. The new parents had all of these feelings while the plane was taxiing down the runway and they were taking their last look at Vietnam.
